Builders go under as Melbourne property bubble bursts

With forecast building approvals in the City of Melbourne expected to fall 92% in the coming financial year, more and more Victorian builders are having to stop building, lay off staff and sell the sites to other developers.
Cressida Wall, Victorian Executive Director at the Property Council of Australia says there has been hits to confidence and tighter lending conditions, and that can affect sales pipelines for the industry and the developers building the projects.
